Certified Arborist Services
Owner Joe Kohnen is an ISA Certified Arborist (credential MW-389993A), which changes what an estimate looks like: before anyone quotes you a price, a trained arborist has actually diagnosed the tree. Health checks, risk evaluations, and honest save-or-remove calls all start there.
- Tree health and risk assessments
- Pest and disease diagnosis
- Save-or-remove recommendations you can trust
- Credential verifiable with the ISA
Plant Health Care
Care for the trees you want to keep, starting with a free, in-person tree health assessment by ISA Certified Arborist Joe Kohnen. He works out what is wrong, whether the tree is safe, and whether it can be kept, then lays out the options with a written price for any work before it is scheduled.
- Free tree health assessment by an ISA Certified Arborist
- Emerald ash borer, bagworms, iron chlorosis, and pine wilt diagnosed in person
- An honest keep-or-remove recommendation
- A written price before anything is scheduled
Dead & Hazardous Tree Removal
Dead, split, leaning, and over-the-roof trees are the work we built our crew around. Each one is assessed in person by an ISA Certified Arborist, then taken down in controlled, rigged sections so nothing drops onto your house, fence, or lines.
- Dead and dying trees, including ash killed by emerald ash borer
- Split trunks, cracked unions, and leaning trees
- Trees over roofs, garages, and neighboring yards
- Bucket truck, lift, and rigging for wood that can't be climbed
Storm Damage Cleanup
After the storm passes, we clear the damage: hanging limbs, broken branches pruned back to sound wood, split and uprooted trees, and every pile of debris. For covered damage, we bill your insurance company directly.
- Hanging and broken limb removal
- Split and uprooted tree removal
- Grapple truck debris hauling
- Insurance documentation and direct billing
Commercial & HOA Tree Service
Tree work for HOAs, property managers, churches, builders, and small commercial properties — removals, pruning, lot clearing, stumps, and storm response — with certificates of insurance, written scopes, and invoicing direct to the property or management firm.
- Certificates of insurance (liability and workers’ comp)
- Written scope, photos, and board-ready documentation
- Recurring maintenance and after-hours work
- Lot clearing for builders with keepers flagged
