No line-item surprises. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, every removal quote covers the following.
- An in-person assessment by the owner. Joe Kohnen, ISA Certified Arborist, looks at the tree, the targets under it, and the access before pricing anything.
- A written estimate. One price for the agreed scope, explained before any work is scheduled.
- Rigging and controlled lowering. Limbs and trunk sections near anything breakable come down on ropes, not by free fall.
- Full cleanup and haul-away. Brush, limbs, and debris are hauled off and the work area is left clean — no piles left behind for you to deal with.
- Proof of insurance. We are fully insured and send a certificate of insurance on request.
- Stump options. Leave the stump, or add stump grinding 4–6 inches below grade in the same visit.

On-Site Assessment & Written Estimate
Joe visits in person and looks at four things: the tree itself (species, lean, dead or decayed wood), what it could hit (roof, fence, pool, service lines), how a bucket truck or lift can reach it, and where the brush and wood will go. You get a written price for the agreed scope and a plain explanation of how the tree will come down. Nothing is scheduled until you approve it.
Strategic Rigging & Climbing
Using professional rigging systems, Joe and the team work the tree from top to bottom — lowering each section in a controlled sequence so nothing free-falls onto a roof, fence, or lawn.
Trunk Takedown
Once limbs are cleared, the trunk is sectioned and brought down safely. For trees with limited space, we use precise directional felling or continue the controlled rigging process.
Complete Cleanup
Brush is chipped or loaded, trunk wood is hauled, and the work area is raked before we leave — cleanup is part of every removal quote, not an add-on. On bigger jobs our grapple truck loads the wood and brush straight from the pile. Want the stump gone too? Stump grinding can be done in the same visit.
